On the banks of the famous Dal Lake overlooking the beautiful Himalayan mountain range in the heart of Srinagar, Mr Gulam Nabi Shawl opened the brands first store in Boulevard 1970. After carving out a name for itself in the handloom industry with quality, sophisticated and stylish products the company widened its horizons by opening stores in Mumbai (India), New Delhi (India) and Kolkata (India) in 1990's. The following years saw Shawlsons become a household name known for their quality and unique design patterns.
